My Hurricane Maria Experience

Hurricane Maria was a horrid experience, It was one of the most traumatizing events of my life. It ruined my beautiful island destroying our power grid and shortening our resources. Hurricane Maria is event I would not want to relieve or revisit. When I was here during the first 8 hours of Maria, I saw my own neighborhood get destroyed by the powering winds of Maria, I saw my house flood up to 3 feet of water and my Balcony Door getting destroyed. Eventually due to my mom’s work as she work as supervisor in American Airlines my family got evacuated. So my mom made me and my sister fly to Miami and we stayed there for the rest of the situation.

3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000…

…..This was done by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico. If a person died for any reason, like old age, just add them onto the list. Bad politics. I love Puerto Rico!
